Commissioned by Gerolamo Godi, Villa Godi Malinverni was built in 1542 in Lugo di Vicenza according to a design by the most famous Italian architect of the 1600s: Andrea Palladio. An architectural masterpiece, the villa has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
We are fortunate that Villa Godi Malinverni has now been returned to its original glory after a major restoration project and is open to the public, offering the chance to visit the room sand the museums of fossils and the First World War, celebrate weddings, organise MICE events, dine in the restaurant and stay the night in the villa.
The spaces used for events, which are fully available to hire, included the nine rooms with frescoes by the great artists Gualtiero Padovano, Giovanni Battista Zelotti and Battista del Moro, with original Italian 17th and 18th century furnishings. In addition, there is the romantic park, considered one of Italy’s finest, offering a magical setting for your special event.
